Qualification Committee for Plants Manufacturing Steel Bridge Structures

The Qualification Committee for Plants Manufacturing Steel Bridge Structures issues Qualification Certificates, which are voluntary documents recommending a given plant for the manufacture, repair and assembly of steel bridge structures, and a laboratory for conducting tests of steel bridge structures.

Following the analysis of the application and an audit, Qualification Certificates for Applicants for the manufacture, repair and assembly, as well as for conducting tests of steel bridge structures, are issued for a period of 3 years.

A surveillance audit is carried out halfway through the validity period of the Qualification Certificate.

The validity period of Qualification Certificates may be extended for subsequent 3-year periods.

The Committee operates on the basis of the Committee Regulations.
