Appeals Procedure

Architectural Accessibility
Road and Bridge Research Institute

The Institute’s premises include buildings housing departments, laboratories, office and utility rooms.
LAMB Building
Houses: Institute Management Board, Concrete Department, Geotechnics and Foundations Department, Promotion, Publishing and Information Department, Library, administrative and laboratory rooms.
There are 4 entrances: one main entrance with a ramp for persons with disabilities, 2 side entrances at the rear, and 1 side entrance with a ramp for persons with disabilities.
Single-storey building, no elevator. All staircases are connected to corridors.
PODKOWA Building
Houses: Warehouse, Outpatient Clinic, Promotion, Publishing and Information Department, International Cooperation Department, Bridge Department and laboratories, Economics Department.
5 entrances, including one with a ramp for persons with disabilities.
Single-storey building, no elevator.
LTK Building
Houses: Management Systems and Telematics Department, Technical Assessment Unit, laboratories, conference rooms.
4 entrances, including one with a ramp for persons with disabilities.
Single-storey building, no elevator.
LBN Building
Houses: Pavement Diagnostics Department and its laboratory.
One entrance adapted for persons with disabilities.
Single-storey building, no elevator.
LAN Building
Houses: Pavement Technology Department and Product Certification Department.
One entrance not adapted for persons with disabilities.
Two-storey building, no elevator.
Next to LAN is the Pavement Technology Laboratory building. It is single-storey and has three entrances adapted for persons with disabilities.
Entrances to all Institute buildings are easily accessible to all persons, including persons with disabilities (ground floor only).
The Institute does not have an audio guidance system for blind or visually impaired persons – no induction loops.
There are no Braille markings, high-contrast markings or enlarged print signage for blind or visually impaired persons.
The Institute does not provide sign language interpreter services.
Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed on the Institute’s premises and inside buildings.
Parking spaces are available, including for persons with disabilities.
Bridge, Concrete and Aggregates Research Centre

Concrete and Aggregates Laboratory Building (TW-2)
Office and laboratory rooms.

Access to the Branch is through the entrance gate of Sibet Company.
The Branch includes an office building with office rooms and a laboratory, as well as a testing hall.
The building connected to the testing hall has 2 entrances: one main entrance at ground level and one through the testing hall. The hall has a vehicle gate.
